Dr. Johnson

Hi everyone! Tomorrow is thursday and it is our last day of surgeries for the trip - we didn't have enough people to fill friday. It's a catch 22 because we are loving it here but we are also pretty tired working so much and getting up so early every day. Here are some pictures of some kids that we've taken care of. We are doing well and miss you all!

Michelle got to perform an important part of this man's surgery. This guy is 79 years old and has this massive growth in his left nostril. So Michelle gladly scrubbed in and actually got to cauterize the last little chunk of growth holding the thing in the guys nose and pull it out all by herself!!! he is the sweetest guy ever and he is so happy now! Good job Michelle!

  2. Wow, my daughter the doctor. Does this mean you want to start med school when you return? It looks like you girls have had a wonderful experience and the chance of a lifetime. I'm sure the families that have received treatment are very grateful for all you've done. What great teamwork from all the participants of Operation of Hope. Be very proud. We're anxious for you to come home, it seems like you've been gone for months.
